Sami Hyppia will bring Bayer Leverkusen to Anfield for a pre-season friendly.

The former Liverpool defender, now in charge of the Bundesliga club, is delighted to make what will be an emotional return.

“Very happy to be managing Bayer Leverkusen against my former club Liverpool on August 12” he commented on Twitter.

The game will take place on August 12th, kick-off 3pm.
