Kenny Dalglish's job is safe but he won't have a big transfer budget for new players this summer.
Despite a new kit deal with Warrior Sports, with no Champions League football next season new owners FSG are rumoured to want to rein in spending, after forking out £108m last year.
With disappointing seasons for some of last summer's big signings, namely Jordan Henderson, Stewart Downing and Charlie Adam, Dalglish will need to spend wisely and make the most of the squad he's currently got, according to the Daily Mirror.
