Daniel Pacheco is disappointed to drop down to the under 21's after playing twice this season, against West Brom and Young Boys, but is determined to impress Brendan Rodgers and get back into the first team squad.

“It’s not easy, especially as I’ve been here for many years now and that happens to me almost every two weeks," he admitted. “But I have to keep working as hard as I can and try to impress the manager.

“When I come to the reserves, some of the players who are training at the Academy every week are left on the bench because I’m in the reserves so I have to play my best, first for myself, and then for the other players in the team.”
