Luis Suarez will miss the start of the new season after being called up to play in the Olympics for Uruguay.

Sebastian Coates has also been called up by Uruguay, while Craig Bellamy will play for Team GB.

With the final on August 11th it will mean all three will miss the USA tour, plus the start of the new season.

However, Brendan Rodgers will hope to have them available for the opening home game against Manchester City on August 25th.
