West Ham are set to break their club's transfer record with a £17m offer for Andy Carroll.
The deal would see the Liverpool forward initially move on loan with a commitment to buy next summer.
However, it is believed that the player isn't keen, and would rather go back to Newcastle United, despite his former Magpies teammate Kevin Nolan being at the Hammers.
