Luis Suarez has been a revelation since he arrived at Anfield. I've been amazed at how quickly he has adapted to English football.
Liverpool fans love him and they’ve come up with a fantastic song for him to the tune of Depeche Mode’s Just Can’t Get Enough.
It was great to hear that ringing out at the Stadium of Light on Sunday. It’s taken over from the song about our former striker.
Liverpool look a very different side with Suarez in it and there’s no doubt he was sorely missed in the Europa League games.
Now we look like winning games away and the transfer dealings that went on in January were a blessing in disguise.
What a great deal Liverpool got and it’s really helped us to move forward.
Suarez is quick, his movement is excellent, he takes a great free-kick and he’s always making things happen. He’s playing like he’s been at Liverpool for years and he will make as many goals as he scores.
The way he took his goal on Sunday showed what great talent and confidence he boasts.
You can question the goalkeeper as he was beaten at his near post but he was expecting a cross and Suarez smashed it in from an acute angle.
You only have to look at the reception Suarez got from Ajax fans when he went back there a few weeks after joining Liverpool to realise he’s a class act on and off the pitch. He showed how you go about leaving a club and was very respectful to them.
