Pompey defeat unacceptable admits Agger

By Al Campbell
Monday, 21st December 2009
Liverpool's latest defeat was an unacceptable one says Daniel Agger.

Saturday was the Reds' seventh league defeat of the season and the performance in it was a new low. The players have realised they are performing at a woeful level admits Agger.

"It goes without saying that we are extremely disappointed and we know that it simply isn’t good enough for this club," said the Dane.

"We have got to change this around. It didn't happen against Portsmouth but we can't let it go on any further.

"Why is this happening? It’s a bit of everything I suppose but we have got to try and get some confidence from somewhere soon.

"You get that by winning games but we are not doing that at the moment."
