Reds linked with striker

Liverpool have been linked with Marouane Chamakh.

The Reds are ready to battle it out with Arsenal for the Bordeaux striker's signature according to the Liverpool Echo.

Chamakh will be available on a Bosman in the Summer and Rafael Benitez is apparently looking to get the Moroccan to sign a pre-contract agreement this month and join his side next season.
